2014 B Labs ‘Best for Farming Communities’ Honoree Delivers Social, Environmental and Financial Returns in Sustainable Agricultural Sector

Chicago, IL, October 21, 2014 – Iroquois Valley Farms, LLC  has been selected to ImpactAssets 50 2014 (IA 50), the third year in a row the Company has received this recognition. “We are honored to be selected for the third year running to this outstanding list of impact investment managers”, said David Miller, CEO of Iroquois Valley Farms. “The recognition really belongs to the next generation of young farmers that are scaling the changeover to sustainable agriculture. Our company is going to need a lot more capital to enable this growth and such recognition by Impact Assets is directly supportive of restorative transitions taking place down on the farm.”

“We are grateful to ImpactAssets for the consistent recognition of our healthy agricultural impacts,” added Director of Impact John Steven Bianucci, “and underscores why we have expanded our investment offering to now also include three, five, and seven year fixed income notes alongside our equity investment option. Foundations, faith-based organizations, family offices and accredited investors are providing socially responsible investment capital, usually through their financial advisors, for our simple business model. Growing healthy foods and on healthy soils is good business.”
